Apple is currently in the process of revealing new devices and updates. Last week, the company introduced its budget-friendly smartphone, the iPhone 16e, which, despite being more expensive than previous SE models, offers additional features that surpass those of earlier low-cost phones. This new device is set to be available in stores on Friday, February 28.
On the following Friday, Apple announced a significant update for the Vision Pro operating system, which will incorporate Apple Intelligence and introduce an iPhone app for the VR headset, providing essential new features that are expected to draw more interest to the high-priced device.
Apple is expected to continue its announcements into March, as the company is reportedly preparing to launch its M4 MacBook Air, according to a Bloomberg report from Sunday. The tech giant is currently organizing teams for the release of both the 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models featuring the latest Apple Silicon, while older versions are being phased out.
Benchmark tests have shown that the MacBook Air M4 comes with 24GB of RAM, indicating that this unit would be an upgrade from the base model, which is expected to include 16GB of RAM.
The MacBook Pro M4 laptops were released in May 2024, while the MacBook Air M3 debuted in March 2024, following Apple’s established release schedule for earlier MacBook Air models.
Before the Worldwide Developer Conference in June, Apple may still have one or two announcements to make. There is ongoing speculation regarding a new iPad Air launch in the spring, and it is also possible that Apple will unveil its M5 chip before the major event.
